This film genuinely was so inspirational. You never know what people deal with behind closed doors. This film reminds people to be kind always, and look out for one another. No matter how many times they say they love you, if they make you feel like that it isn’t love. This film portrays that so well.

I absolutely loved "Bad for Me". Beverly’s innocence was so beautifully portrayed, it really struck a chord with me. Her character reminded me a lot of the vibe from Taylor Swift’s album Folklore—there’s this enchanting, almost ethereal quality to her that draws you in. The wardrobe choices for each scene were spot-on to reflect the personalities and arcs of the characters. Beverly’s outfits especially captured her purity and naivety, contrasting sharply with her manipulator’s initially charming, but sinister appearance. Watching his transformation into this huge villain was so cool and intriguing. The way the film builds his character from someone seemingly charismatic to someone truly malevolent is masterfully done. It kept me on the edge of my seat for sure. I’m so so so excited for the feature!

I remember watching the short film for the first time and feeling like I was truly taken back in time and was in the room with Beverly and Antoni. The costumes and make up are spot on. The way the movie is directed, produced and colored make you feel like you are really in the 50s along side the characters. This film has a heavy topic, but the way in which is it portrayed is beautiful. In my opinion there are not many films that show the raw emotion of domestic violence like this short film does, and even fewer that are created by students. This film is so beautiful yet so important and impactful. It is truly inspiring. This film has opened my eyes to what student short films can be and I can only imagine how amazing the feature will be!

Tiktoks of the film came up on my For You Page, so I started following and I was immediately hooked. When the short film came out i was so excited, I watched it over and over again. It’s truly amazing and i love it! I was genuinely in tears, I thought that it was such a beautiful story and the actors really did an amazing job at bringing it to life. It was so emotional to see the bits and pieces i was watching on TikTok for months finally come together.

I really enjoyed watching "Bad for Me". A lot of women, including myself, relate to Beverly and see themselves in her. I would love to see a feature length version as the story brings awareness to important issues and gives viewers a place to feel seen.

I love "Bad for Me" because it raises awareness to domestic violence. It makes an impact to people who are experiencing abuse in there own lives to know there’s a resource and ways for help out there. I love it because it’s shows the highs and the hard truth and how quickly everything can change in a relationship.
